Too big to eat: Student art pieces now on display

There’s still time to swing by and feast your eyes on the latest papier-mâché art projects from students in Kara Donatelli’s design class.  The super-sized art pieces are on display now in the Fine Arts building on the Levelland campus.

“This project was about scale,” Donatelli says, “so they were supposed to take a food and enlarge it by at least three times.”

Most of the projects appear in the main lobby.

But two of them are served up in the classroom hallway.

A slice of pizza is slapped on the wall and a side of pork hangs from the ceiling.

These larger than lunch projects should be on display until the end of March.
