Children and college students dressed as Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even Pokémon flooded the Student Center.
South Plains College hosted another successful Halloween Carnival in the Student Center and the Sundown Room on Oct. 27.
The foyer had different stations for the Levelland residents and their children to get faces painted, temporary tattoos, balloon animals, and play some games.
But the real games were in the Sundown Room. There were different variations of Halloween-themed ring toss games, tick-tack-toe, basketball toss, and bowling.
In the Snack Bar area, there was a cake-walk that led to the ‘Haunted House.’
The ‘Haunted House’ seemed to be ‘insane asylum’ themed, and it went through a section of the Student Center. In one room there were female clowns in a corner and patients lying on the floor and in beds. The nurses and patients all had blood on them. The ‘Haunted House’ provided fun jump-scares and was moderate enough for even the faintest of hearts.
