It is nearly impossible to find a corner of the word to hide from the YEEZY sneaker drops.
With a man who dares to compare himself to Jesus leading with his in-your-face personality, his shoe designs have gathered admiration, envy and even confusion in some cases. Kanye West has changed the modern sneaker world forever. Whether redesigning the chunky dad shoes, to creating high fashion crossovers, or simply creating a multi-million dollar empire, YEEZY sneakers are impossible to ignore.
Through the years, the YEEZY brand has not shown signs of slowing down, with new sneakers being released several times a month. West is a workaholic designer with different releases coming in white, black, gray, red, blue and green. Every new drop causes a shock wave through the internet. To help you navigate what is out there, here are the top 10 most epic YEEZY sneakers.

Coming in at No. 10 are the “Adidas Yeezy Slides- Earth Brown.” The slides made their debut amid the pandemic early in 2020. So, it was perfect for lockdown. They are comfy slip-ons that you can wear around the house, and they are easy to throw on when you are running out the door. Plus, it does not need too much thinking when trying to style with your outfit.

At No. 9, there is the “Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner, Solid Grey” which was released in November 2017. Many know this sneaker as the dad shoe, because of its silhouette being an and old-school model. Even though the sneaker has bulky exterior, it is very comfortable, and the gray-and-black part of the shoe really complements and lets you play around with different lace colors to create variety.

The “Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Semi Frozen Yellow” is at No. 8. Nicknamed the “McChicken” because of its yellow and green hues, this shoe was sold worldwide in November 2017. This sneaker steps away from the softer neutral colors many often associate with the YEEZY brand. This shoe is perfect for anyone who wants to rock a bold color and make a statement.

This one might be a bit of a shocker, but at No. 7 are the “Adidas Yeezy 700 V3, Arzareth.” The design pattern is sticking on the shoe with its blue-and-gray knit and translucent glow-in-the-dark cage overlay. The sneaker was released in August 2020, and it has become a fan favorite.

Sitting just outside the top 5 is the “Yeezy Boost 350, Clay.” Released in March 2019, the Clays are very drip heavy and eccentric, with orange and pink accents across the shoe. This sneaker is perfect for Fall and Spring, and it is a must-grab for anyone needing to step up their wardrobe.

Cracking the top 5 are the “Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Blue Tint.” This is the sneaker that arguably put West on the map as far as a shoe designer in December of 2017. This colorway caused a frenzy upon its release and are now nearly impossible to get ahold of, unless you are ready to spend a large amount of cash. They are sometimes referred to as the “Blue Yebras” because of the zebra pattern and winter appearance. The shoe is set to restock just in time for the holidays.

At No. 4 are the “Yeezy 500, Salt.” You can never go wrong with a nice blue sneaker. This is a simple shoe with neutral colors, and the durability it holds means it can last a very long time if taken care of properly. This shoe will have you feeling on top of the world with its salt midsole.

Now we take a trip to No. 3 with my personal favorite, the “Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Synth.” This sneaker is just all around different. The prime knit of the shoe appears to have a beige upper with a pink tint that is unlike any other Yeezy colorway. The Synth is a perfect summer shoe and can take your outfit to the next level. This shoe, which dropped in June of 2019, was an Asia exclusive and was difficult for buyers in North America to scoop a pair unless going through the resale route.

The runners-ups are the “Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Beluga.” One of the most expensive in the Yeezy collection, ranging from $700 to $1,100, the Belugas were released in September 2016. The solar red strip complements the sneaker in a perfect way that will have you feeling “smarter, better, faster, stronger.”

And at No 1, it’s the “Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Bred,” by far the most recognizable and iconic sneaker in the lineup. The combination of red and black makes it suitable for both men and women. The design is simple, yet classy, making your outfit look fresh and clean. Once you own a pair, it will make you want to ‘get your money right so that nobody can’t tell you nuthin.”
It is no secret Kanye West has created a monster of an empire. Like many fans, I cannot wait to see what else he has in store in the years to come.
