Students returned to the SPC campus this week. Creative arts students were learning about sound technology and video production. Students in the fine arts building were beginning art projects this week. Kristy Kristinek, assistant professor of art, was teaching students in Painting I to blend primary colors to make their own neutrals. Students in Painting II were working on a project involving the skeletal system. Kara Donatelli, professor of art, had students working on their first ceramics project. Chris Adams, assistant professor of art, had students working on a diagnostic drawing, an exercise he says let’s him “learn about their interests” and “how their eyes are geared.” Welcome back students!
