SPC students get close-up in Tom T. Hall Studio

Students in ARTV 1371 Intro to Video Production are starting to learn how to use studio cameras in the Tom T. Hall Studio on the Levelland campus at South Plains College.  Concerts are produced in Tom T. Hall Studio throughout the year and performers are shown on the jumbo screen overhead.  The students seen here will be running the cameras for one of the upcoming concerts.

“They are rehearsing for Fest Week at the end of the semester,” said Greg Cook, program coordinator and associate professor of Cinema and Video Production.

ARTV 1371 is offered every fall and spring semester.  Other students in the program run cameras for “Pickin’ on the Plains” and “Thursday Night Live,” which are ongoing concert series.  All performances are held in the Tom T. Hall Studio in the Creative Arts Building on the Levelland campus. To watch these shows live, go online to: livestream.com/SPCCreativeArts.
