The Lady Texans took to the practice court in the Dome this week to ramp up for game two, three, and four of the season. After warm up exercises and free throws,
“We were working on improving our overall defensive effort,” Lady Texans Coach Ara Baten says, “and limiting our turnovers on offense.”
And while players practiced ball handling, news photography students from COMM 1316 practiced camera handling. The goal: capture motion.
After their season opener last week against Dodge City Community College, South Plains now hits the road for the first of three road trips beginning with Arizona at the Eastern Arizona Classic.
SPC squares off with Pima Community College at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 9., followed by a 4 p.m. game against Trinidad State on Nov. 10. The third game is against Eastern Arizona College at the Gila Monster Shootout Tournament at 8 p.m. on Nov. 10.
