Get your first sights, tastes, and smells of fall this Saturday in downtown Levelland.
Falling for the Wallace Fall Festival is a free event being held to bring the community of Levelland together. The Wallace Theater is kicking off this event on Oct. 5 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be activities and entertainment for all ages.
“This is an opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate,” said Jolenna Carter, Experience and Operations Director for the Wallace Theater.
This family-friendly event will provide live music, shopping, carnival games, food and drinks. United Supermarkets will also be sponsoring a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, free for anyone to participate.
“Fall is a wonderful time of year in West Texas. It is a time to celebrate new beginnings, and it is a time when people enjoy gathering outside,” said Alycyn Keeling, Executive Director of the Wallace Theater.
“This event gives everyone an opportunity to shine…Other business and non-profit organizations have the opportunity to showcase their work and raise money for their organization,” said Keeling. “We hope this will become an annual event that is unique to our community and one that people look forward to throughout the year.”
The staff at the Wallace Theater hopes families in Levelland and the surrounding communities will come out to enjoy the fall fun and experience an evening in downtown Levelland.
“We want everyone to come out,” said Carter.
For a festive fall time, come out to downtown Levelland Saturday and enjoy the live music and activities with family, friends and the community. Keeling notes that while the festival is free to attend, there may be some vendors and booths that require payment to participate.
