The tip-off of the first scrimmage comes in early October. So, the Lady Texans are pounding the court getting ready.
What does Coach Ara Baten see as the keys to this season?
“Success for us will come down to consistency,” he says. “Consistency in execution on offense and defense, consistency in effort and intensity, consistency in attitude and being great teammates. I believe if we can be consistent in these areas, we will have the opportunity to achieve all of our goals.”
Fast motion on the court gave students in COMM 1318 Photography 1 a great chance to practice adjusting their shutter speeds to catch the winning action.
The first game of the season is set for Oct. 31 in the Texan Dome at 5 p.m.
