It’s a celebration of Western heritage, horsemanship, and grit. Since 1954, the Cinch Roping Fiesta has stood as a proud San Angelo tradition.
What began as an off-season fundraiser for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association has evolved into a showcase of roping talent, featuring events like tie-down, team, and steer roping, along with the fast-growing ladies breakaway competition.
The photos here take you to the ring and offer a glimpse into the heart of rodeo competition. It’s a gathering of champions, families, and fans who return year after year to honor the sport and spirit of West Texas.
