The season doesn’t start with a game. It starts on the practice court. And weekday mornings that’s where you’ll find the Lady Texans in their pre-season workouts.
SPC Head Women’s Basketball Coach Ara Baten says he has been very encouraged this pre-season by his team’s effort and attitude.
“There are many new concepts that they are learning to embrace,” he says, “and we are making progress day to day and week to week.”
Baten says he’s excited about the opportunity his team has this season.
After several upcoming scrimmages, the first game tips off at 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the Texan Dome against Weatherford College.
