Student named as finalist in National Rodeo singing contest
Current South Plains College student, Halle Reid, has been named to the National Founders Rodeo national anthem singing contest. Reid joins five other nominees who are up for voting on the NFR website in the open category. Voting ends on Oct. 6, with the winner reciting the national anthem at the rodeo in Las Vegas, N.V.
